Two Bans Last Week: Google Blogger and Amazon

Banned in Blogger

Last week, Google found my activity suspicious. Sometimes, it thinks everyone is a spambot. We are living in a world where every human being has to prove that he is a human being through Captcha. Of course, the objective of this blog might be to let everyone know that I have written a book and released two versions of it. I don't know if using a personal blog to announce the world that you are an author of a book is spamming.

Somehow, responding quick, they restored the blog to my "human" appeal. I think the West, US, UK and Europe, is suspicious first at anything. Doubt led to the growth of science and scientific advancements. It is their nature to be doubtful, say some of those who have seen both the west and the east and were western by birth.

Banned in Amazon Community Forum

I also got banned in the Amazon community forum from posting messages because... I don't know the reason (shrugs). I did not also get the royalty of some of my Amazon purchases from the US. I don't know where they went or if they would take time to reflect. It has been a couple of weeks since they purchased. They told me they made a sale but it did not reflect.

So, I couldn't ask them (other authors) about it to know what I could do further to get the sales and royalty reflect and also to get the royalty due.

Again, the mistrusting West thought I was probably proselytizing and or evangelizing. I was talking merely the content of my book. I made a mistake as well for which I claim responsibility. I entered a thread mistaking it for another and derailed the whole thread. I intended to write on a thread which was titled "What Genre You Write? Why?"

Finding it a good opportunity to get some eyeballs, I thought of posting in the thread but, by some mistake, I posted on another thread about Vanity Publishing titled "Archway Publishing / Simon and Schuster" or something like that. I don't remember the names exactly. I realize that it was an important thread and I derailed it.

I posted thinking that it was another thread, the genre thread. As I left my comment there, some tried to pose a question on what I posted. The power of God attracted a lot of people to my comment which was actually out of place. One after the other posted something funny or criticized me or my comments and I answered them all. One of the comments went to the moderator and never returned. Some other comments were posted.

One of them said that I couldn't have seen God (as he actually knew the subject) and I told him how I saw God forms and could not see the Indivisible Brahman yet nor hope to see in this birth, as I have my attachments. I remain a bhakta (devotee) and see the Divine Mother Kali Who is everything for me and who I worship.

As I explained all these, questions after questions poured in and many got offended. The distrust of the West was in their assumption by past impressions that they assumed to be a Christian evangelist and one said I was a disgrace to Christianity. I explained I was Hindu.

By past impressions, they thought I was evangelizing. I felt bad for derailing the thread though. As soon as that misconception was cleared, which though only a few had, they took offense for another reason - Professionalism. They were so busy and serious in those discussions. One said I was strange and unusual.

I am of the opinion that the whole forum was desperate. They could slow down and catch the flies like frogs do, waiting and sticking their tongue out. That's a far easier method and one of wisdom to do that way than ragged arguments.

Somehow, I must admit that the West is more patient and they do give a thought and see the other's perspective. Indians are emotional and get offended or take things personal quite easily. Indians also have to be mature in discussions, as the West is. The West could still forgo perception through past impressions to be not influenced by them and exercise a little more patience in their pursuit of happiness (read money). I thank Google for bringing this blog up again.

I released a spin-off version - a stripped off version of the book sans the deep philosophy. This book carries only the secrets, miracles and visions. This would be more fun to read, as the above is for those who are very serious and philosophical. The second version is a lot easy to read, entertaining and full of only important secrets, miracles and visions without the deep insightful philosophy of the previous. I made this fun and interesting to read. I priced the book at mere $0.99 and Rs. 65 in India. In all other countries, the price is the same (the equivalent). You may purchase this easier and more interesting version titled "How To See God: The Book of Secrets, Miracles and Visions" from the sidebar widget :)
